    low carb options

Ritz biscuits are 1.3g of carbs then add your choice of soft cheese. I find 2 or 3 quite filling.

Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

I was always pretty accurate at estimating my Hba1c when I was testing regularly. Most people would have a reasonable idea of how they're doing with their Hba1c if they have done a fair bit of self testing...

    Diabetes burnout, anyone?

Welcome Carlos, I could have written your post! That's exactly how I feel although I'm T2 diagnosed around 16 months ago. I no longer read posts from people who are really struggling as it depresses me too much. I feel really selfish about this so I often go to the newly diagnosed T2 section...

    Ditching my meter

After a long think I've decided to put my meter and testing paraphernalia to the back of the cupboard. Since Christmas I've been 'cheating to my meter.' In other words I'm using my low scores to take the opportunity to 'treat' myself to chocolate bars and biscuits which has resulted in massive...

I kinda get where they are coming from. I eat anything and everything and I've always told myself nothing is off limits. That helps to keep me well controlled I believe. I love bananas and still have one on rare occasions usually before the gym. Overall my consumption of daily carbs is less...
