What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

yum, stuffed mushrooms! I prefer them to mice! spiders not mushrooms, although I think mice are precious, just not in the house, (unless pets.) Had a few lockdown mice come in the last couple of years in a row, and had a few 3am stake-outs. I caught a few and let them go over the river, which...

Funny enough similar spider chat came about while in a shop earlier while was looking for a toy snake, wont carry it on though. Food today: 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, and a few cherry tomatoes. 5 raspberries with some cream over. may or may not have something else in a bit.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Thanks, @AndBreathe , yeah it makes total sense, I think some of these terms trigger people off on a defensive or some preconceived idea that doesn't tally up with reality. Ate some cheese and a quarter of a raw onion, with a little watercress for breakfast.

    Will I need insulin eventually?

Following on from that personal fat threshold thingy as I found it interesting when I read about the theory in 2016 (maybe) I don't know much about any of this stuff, or claim to understand it, as I don't know half of the story, and there's too many vectors. I do think humans and diabetes are...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

My dad is the same, couldn’t even look at a picture. funnily it’s all my brother wanted as a pet when younger, big no no. Equally as funny daughter is obsessed with them and wants one, and does research on them and wants to be a herpetologist, I’m not opposed to the idea, but I think they are...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yeah, would save a fair bit! but probably not a great idea overall. I’ve heard a few stories like that, funnily I was never much an eater when I was younger, and bought and made stuff as and when I was hungry, naturally listening to my body far more than I have done in the last few years, so I...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

5 Raspberries and a few spoons of greek yog, with a tiny bit of vanilla mixed in. Diabetes is weird, can never work it out. Low Carb + Metformin for me = really decreased appetite. So I thought I'd see if I could kick my appetite back into gear, and had about 10 Jacobs crackers, with some...

Totally non fussed on eating again. Few berries and cream, and a little desiccated toasted coconut this morning. 2 scrambled eggs, with pepper, pastrami, and cheese cooked into it, with a few bits of broccoli on the side.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Been rearranging the house a little as wanted to make life easier with a few things, been a bit upside down and only been popping on and off the internet and not posting much. Anyway, hope all you lovely people are good. Not going to update all the food I've had since last on. Tonight I put...

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Since last Friday: +2.87lb (+1.3kg) Since the 8th of Jan: -21.6lbs (-9.83kg) So, have had a rise in the past 2 weeks running (3 and a bit lb/1.5kg in total in 14 days.) I think things after the initial massive weight loss are starting to even out a bit, I'll keep an eye for sure but probably...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Thanks, pinched! as I have an 80th coming up soon and it's perfect, although they might need it explaining to them which could kill the wit somewhat, but I'll give it a go anyway. Yes, to save quoting again, my dad used to do ghost stories which we all used to enjoy. Scary maggie sounds fun...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

A charm indeed, I have to add though it HAS to be something boring, and that NEEDS to be done and that is probably something that's been put off for quite a while also. Doing your accounts is, probably not boring if you actually like accounting, but that probably should go without saying. You...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I hadn't either until I was given one as a gift just before all the lockdowns. It probably should have had more use throughout them, but its great for grilling bits when having people around, or having what we call "snacky dinners.", "picky nins" and "non specific tapas" Gets quite hot so...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I get lost with all the variations of this (and other threads sometimes) posted in the “wrong” one a few times but didn't notice as its the some of the same people posting, which utterly confuses my very small brain. Also didn’t put down what I had yesterday, as had been running about and...
