Agave Nectar/Syrup - good or bad?

Thanks for your concern and advice Mike - already on the case with regard to exercise, weight loss and major overhaul of diet to reduce blood sugars...have had loads of help from Healthcare Team in all these areas [and gained a lot from people on here] but it seems that my particular GP's...

Agave Nectar/Syrup - good or bad?

Ah, that's the problem - I'm "diet only" at present and not testing. My DS Nurse seems to favour not testing until the blood test 3-months from diagnosis.

Two rashers of grilled, lean back bacon and a poached egg on a small slice of pumpkin or walnut bread toasted...divine! :) Ring the changes with a few mushrooms or half a tomato, grilled, or a few baked beans... Yum! Is it breakfast time yet?

Making soup is easy, fun and good for you! Try "Fridge Bottom Soup" to use up leftovers of all sorts of vegetables - some good stock and plenty of herbs or seasoning! Enjoy! :)

    Soups and stews please

Made some delicious Carrot and Sweet Potato Soup tonight... To make enough for about four good portions: Sweat 1 large/2 small chopped onions with a clove or two of garlic according to your taste in a little virgin olive oil. Add 3 or 4 chopped carrots, a chopped stick of celery, a diced...

    Toe nail

Me too! Have only just been diagnosed T2 but have had similar nail problems for several years. A test of clippings confirmed Fungal Infection but at least three lots of medication have failed to clear it up. Seeing the Diabetes Team Nurse next week so will discuss with her as it could well be...
