I am carb counting, so I will increase my insulin:carb ratio & I could increase my Basal by a unit

I've only been diabetic for 5 months, and carb count however the past few days I've had an average of ~10 mmol/L going all the way up to ~16mmol/L which is higher than my average of ~6 mmol/L. Does this mean the honeymoon phase is over for me? I have been ill recently which may contribute.

Previously I have been a lurker and today I decided to make the jump and sign up. I'm Hasan & I've had type 1 since Oct '15. Recently my sugars have been much higher than usual hinting that I've probably left the honeymoon period and I'm stuck on what to do.
