    Hello all. Diagnosed three weeks ago (Type 2). The doctor prescribed Metformin 1/day but I had a kidney ultrasound recently and getting the results on Monday. I understand that metformin can have an adverse effect on kidneys. Should I start on the stuff or wait for kidney result?
