    Foot infection?

    i scratched my foot which appears to have an insect bite from the garden. Its now slightly discoloured (reddish with a patch thats faintly purplish) and has a burning sensation and is swollen. I did call 111 but i think the last person i spoke to might not have been familiar with diabetic...
