    Success, I think!

    Well I have been low carbing for a week and finally for the last few days my bs levels after my main evening meal (2 hrs) are about 7.4 instead of 11.4-ish which is what they were when I was being "good" according to my diabetic nurse.     If I am on low carb will I need to know if I am losing ketones? Does it mean that my kidneys aren't functioning or am I getting the wrong end of the stick? Do I need to know?

    Sick of all my equipment and drugs

    We don't have a big house - and I have a blood pressure monitor, loads of BP drugs, my asthma inhalers and now all the stuff for BS testing and the sharps container to fit in somewhere - safe so my boy doesn't take my medication or prick his finger and it's driving me mad!!! :evil:
