Can anyone please confirm if long sight double vision be caused by diabeties ?

I recently had a short spell of double vision,has anyone else had this ? If so how did they correct it,was it due to diabeties ?

Can anyone advise me what the maximum carbs & calorie intake is per person. I appreciate a persons age,height & weight would be the relating factor however is there a rule of thumb formula ?
