    I'm a newly diagnosed T2 (that's Type 2... Not Terminator 2 [emoji41]) I've read that hard cheese such as cheddar is very low carb. Is this correct? Please say yes!!

    New to this....totally lost!

    Diagnosed around 4 weeks ago - type 2. Given Metformin to take once a day but I'm aware this needs to increase gradually. I have no idea what I'm supposed to eat. I've done the obvious and cut out the sugar (sweets, cakes, puddings etc) and switched to the only fruit I like which is bananas...
