I'm 17. What is considered a high blood sugar honestly. My doctor says 7 is high, I have a few other doctors and they said 9 is high. I'm so confused!!!!
My brother and I are young type 2 diabetics. Is it wrong to feel envious cause my brother is a big person but he eats 6 slices of wholemeal sandwiches and his BSL is always below 5! I eat one sandwich and mine goes to 8 : (
Today I went to the diabetes doctors and he told me to stop taking the metformin for good.
My diabetes is now in good condition and stabled. Cholesterol's a little out of range but that can be sorted out with some vegetables and walking [emoji24]. Went out and celebrated with my family this...

Looking for friends I can talk to about T2D. I don't mind talking to new people with T1D either! But teens with T2D are so uncommon, I just want to express. [emoji4]
What happens after you reach this stage? I know at this point you would probably make healthier food choices for the rest of your life since you have the capability of reversing the disease but by "reversing" does that mean your blood sugars are now normal or stabilised to indulge in foods you...
