    Morning resistance ideas

Hi everyone, Just wondered if anyone had any advice/experience with managing morning insulin resistance. Every morning, I take my 5u when I get out the car, walk 10 mins to work, do 30 mins of emails and then have my porridge (5cps). As you can see from the graph, the second I eat it shoots up...

    GD When I wee....

...Does it reduce my bg if I'm high? Thought this last night whilst my levels were @12+ due to an incorrect bolus. I know your body tries to get rid of excess glucose through your urine if you are high but does then going for a wee actually reduce your sugars (albeit not much)?

So it's my birthday tomorrow for the first time since being diabetic. Everyone brings something into the office and I'd still like to do the same bit I don't think last year's trip to Krispy Kreme would be wise! Honeymoon CGM

Hi, I have been diagnosed T1 for just over 4 months and pretty much in control of it now which is good! Started sports again and learning everyday. At my last consultation, my DN said I should enjoy the lower insulin dosages whilst I'm still honeymooning and that it would significantly change...

    Correcting in the evening

Hi everyone, Over Christmas I've been able to control my morning and day sugars well but eating meals out at night has caused some high bedtime readings. I've obviously not calculated the carbs correctly so had bgs at 14 plus! Still new to carb counting so sure I will get better at guessing...

New Type1. Running before I can walk

Hi everyone, Recently diagnosed Type 1 aged 26 and currently a month in. As soon as I was diagnosed it was more of a relief that there was a fix of sorts and although it's a pain, it is what it is! Took the approach that there was no point being down or depressed, a lot worse things could...
