    Type 2 Regular Low HbA1C but still 8.9 fasting test?

    I am confused, as every time I have an HbA1C fasting test at a hospital clinic, it is around 4.1, however when I take a home kit fasting test or a normal fasting glucose test in a clinic it is around 8.9. So do I have Type 2 diabetes? I also have 'cold' haemolytic anaemia, could this be...
