    I take 10 units of glargine insulin (slow acting ) at 11am.What should my blood sugars be when I go to bed at 12am,I'm currently going to bed at between 12/14.Sometimes when I wake up (8a.m ish) I'm in range below 9 and sometimes I'm about 10/11 thank you for any help/advice - Leigh

    Sugars dropping too low

    I''m type 1, I go to bed at between 14-15 at about midnight. by 4-5am my blood has dropped to around 4(too low for me ) and I have to have sweets to keep right till I get up around 9.my bedtime snack is usually 2-3 weetabix,semi skimmed and sugar on top.very frustrating would I be better having...

    Low falling sugar

    Why is my sugar levels falling too low by morning time,last night bedtime 14.6 this morning 4.9 and I didn't take any fast acting insulin before bed.i take 14 units long acting insulin at around 11am.

    If you were enjoying say 6 bottles of lager on a evening should you inject fast acting insulin to keep your sugars in range ? Or will sugars come down overnight.also should I take my slow acting insulin at t time before drinking T I A
