    Recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Trying to avoid medication. Currently been on low cal diet but my testing still high. This morning fasting test 8.9. Any suggestions please.

    Hi. I'm Marietta

    I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes couple years ago. It was 6.2. Since then my reading has been below 5. However, 3 weeks ago I was getting mild headaches and when I did the glucose test te reading was 12.2 in the morning 2hrs after breakfast. My appointment with the GP is not until 2 weeks...
