How long after taking insulin would you wait before you exercise?

I usually eat breakfast at around 8am and take my insulin (NovoRapid) but by 10am my levels are through the roof (as high as 20). But when I correct after a few hours it comes right down. Does anybody else find that they are insulin resistant in the mornings? And how do you deal with it?

Hey Type 1 people. I'm newly diagnosed (about 6 months) and I'm just wondering how do people carry their supplies when going out to a restaurant or somewhere. All the bits are obviously too big to carry in my wallet, and all the carry cases for sale online are too big to fit in your pocket...
