    Prediabetic? New to this

    Hi all, I am 37 male with a lot of weight (137kg / down from 158 9 months ago). I started reading about insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome after I borrowed a friend's meter and checked by BG after a heavy pizza meal, only to see a reading of 220mg/dl. That got the alarm bells ringing...
