    Newly diagnosed child diabetic - thinking treats are now not at thing for snacking and desserts - ideas welcome

    Son recently diagnosed and we are controlling carbs but it has ruled out a few of his favorite things until we get more confident at counting and insulin doses..... wondered if people had any good ideas or books etc.. on sweet treats for kids that are type 1 - we are looking at low carb snacks...
