Hi I need some help, my blood reading before food/drink was 7.7mmol, after taking metformin and eating/drinking I get dizzy and headaches so did another reading and was 4.6mmol, is it normal. Been on metformin for 9yrs with no problems or symptoms, I've got type 2.

Hi I have type 2 and am on metformin, my blood suger was 6.9 and cholesterol 6.4 three months ago. Blood sugar now down to 6.2 but cholesterol up to 6.9, I have changed what I eat and isi'm now 85% fat and sugar free so can anyone explain why his has happened

Hi I need help.. 1 blood test 2 weeks ago was 6.9 now told to take metformin twice a day. The test was'nt a fasting one and was 1st test in nearly 2yrs ( was 6.7 then). Am I diabetic ?

Hi my doctor says i'm boarderline diabetic so I bought a monitor and have been checking bloods every morning for a week, there is more than 8 hours fasting. The readings have all been over7 to 7.7. Please can you tell me if i have diabetes as doc still not positive.
