    Do morning cups of tea affect BS?

    I'm Type 2, on Byetta 10mcg twice a day, Metformin, Gliclazide and Sitagliptin. Overall I'm happy with my blood sugar but I am curious as to whether 2/3 cups of tea (PG Tips, semi skimmed milk, no sugar) before my morning test will increase my BS results. Does anyone know?
