Thanks, my GP just tells me that the high sugars will not harm me in the short term. He does not seem to understand that the asthma makes me feel terrible, the steroids make me like a raging bull and the high sugars really make me feel awful.

HI, if your readings go over 13 then you have type II this is what the specialists go by, a couple of readings over 13 mean you are diabetic. Hope this helps :)

This could be high sugars causing the buzzing in your ears. Is it the same level all the time. I get this and when my sugars are higher than they should be the ringing is worse. Monitor it and see how you go. :roll:

HI there, don't be scared. Just read as much as you can about things, keep the carbs as low as you can because these elevate the sugars quickly and keep smiling. I have had type 11 for about ten years now. Losing weight has helped me. Take it easy. :)
