    As far as I can tell the NHS only funds insulin pumps for some T1s (and not all who want it at that) - is that correct? Only I'm a MODY and the more I read about pumps and talk to health professionals about them the more I'm sure it could help tackle some of my problems with sugar control...

    Thanks for the advice guys! I'm pretty new to this so had forgotten about the control solution. 90 mins post dinner just now, and using new box of test strips and reading was 15.4 - still not quite right but not so terrifying as reading HI!
