I wonder what you make of this...

To be fair, I originally posted this in the diabetes discussion forum. It seems to be the case that some people took exception to a post which I consider to be of interest to all diabetics. Have another look at the link I posted. It is the case that folks here are being advised by many to...

I wonder what you make of this...

This thread is of interest to all diabetics. If it's shown to be the case that maintaining very low BG levels is dangerous, then shouldn't we all know about it? No doubt cugila will censor this post or change my wording as he sees fit.

dipsticky, I wouldn't have posted that link had I known that some would be offended; to me, it seemed a tame, clever and rather amusing animation. Crotchety? Never, unless I feel that people are being misled. You may not appreciate my sense of humour but, I can assure you that I don't post...

    Chocolate???

I'm told that a few people were offended by that link, and it has now been removed. It certainly wasn't my intention to upset anyone but, to those I have, my apologies.

And then they all abseiled down the cliffs, using mammoth guts as rope, and bravely swam out to sea to recover the protein...

    why i dont low carb

Because I'm lazy! On a more serious note, I agree with all the points you make and would like to ask why, if agricultural products are poisoning humans as much as some would have us believe, the world's population is rapidly approaching seven billion? (Ducks and covers.)

    Diet yoghurt

Buy plain low-fat yoghurt and bung in a few chopped strawberries or blueberries etc. instead. Cheaper and just as tasty.

Doug, don't worry too much. The "stone-age diet" remains controversial, with many experts considering it a fad. I tend to agree with them.

It's the right time of year for a large Cointreau or Calvados on the rocks with a little spring water. Even Hana couldn't resist these.

What's the weather doing to us all?

I look like the elephant man! BG levels only up slightly, but just enough to trigger an attack of sebhorreic dermatitis, which is both painful and embarrassing. I hate Summer. :|

    Life assurance.

No problem, deadwood. I suppose the only other realistic option is the small claims court, which is intended to make legal action accessible for those without too much spare cash. It still takes ages to get a result and can prove costly if you lose, as well as being quite a stressful procedure...

    Life assurance.

No, we don't. All I'm saying is that if negotiations with the lender have failed to produce a satisfactory outcome, and they have in this case, there aren't too many other routes to take without risking a huge legal bill. There's no harm in trying, is there?
