    Hi Avi, The rise in BG could be down to a combination of things but I am sure the proximate casue will be down to your body coverting the protein in your breakfast to glucose. I would normally inject 2-3 units of Humulin S with my breakfast of bacon & eggs. Best of luck, Fletch.
