    Thanks for the advice Dennis, I certainly will do as you suggest if I end up with Byetta. At one point I thought it was my only option but to be honest, am now hoping that the consultant will see the good I've done on my own and tell me to leave teh Byetta for now. We shall see!

    I always test on my forearms - I just find it too painful to test on my fingers as they seem to stay painful for ages. Not good if you are testing frequently during the day!
