    I used a Medtronic Paradigm Veo which have a 300 unit reservior which you can fill to whatever you like from the insulin cartridge I found 300 lasted me about 8 days I was pumping for 18 years successfully but now on pen due to canula sight failures they were only lasting about 36 hours

    I am confused here why you would be on metformin if you are type 1 surely you must be using insulin
