    Have just bought a blender and the instruction leaflet recommends 50-50 leafy greens and fruit plus a boost of nuts or seeds. What fruit can I include to keep blood sugar low as poss? I am Type 2 on diet only since 2007. Thanks.

    I was diagnosed. Type 2 in 2007. Attended a 2 hour session with a dietician along with others newly diagnosed. That is all I have been offered.

    I am type 2 for 7 years now and my GP says I can't have any more free testing strips or finger prickers on the NHS - so I don't understand why they are issuing free test meters even if they are a new model. Doesn't seem consistent - or am I misunderstanding?
