Proliferative retinopathy is micro ,fragile blood vessels which grow on the surface of the retina. They bleed. I've had multiple laser treatments for this and glaucoma. But how about the fasting BGL?

I am T2D > 25 years with retinopathy, presently on my third eye bleed, worst so far. I've begun taking Taurine at night to help clear the blood. However my fasting >12hours BGL have gone from high 4's to mid 6's. Any comments appreciated.
