3 month review with diabetes nurse

Well done, Eggs. And what a good thing your Diabetic Team was willing to listen. I actually managed my T2D for 6 years, from March 2004-March 2010, on diet only, and I logged everything I ate, and had HbA1cs between 5.1-6.0 (sorry, I don't know those new numbers!) for the whole 6 years. I cured my diabetes so anybody can

Actually, it was in March 2004, 12 years ago now, which was when I was diagnosed. I simply counted carbs at every meal, ate what I liked (mostly good stuff, kept of the junk) within the limits of the carb count, monitored my blood sugar 2-4 times a day, kept a food diary, drew nice graphs of my...

I cured my diabetes so anybody can

I did too, Buddy-Roo. Had HbA1c of between 5.1 and 6.0 for the first six years. I was 'cured'. I have watched dozens of people do this, but as our friend above says, you can't resurrect dead beta cells. In my seventh year the HbA1c slipped up to 7.0, and in the eight year it was 8. I begged for...
