It definitely does affect your mood. My hubby often says to me what was your reading, meaning your being a *****. He is usually right and my level is low. I often don't know till it gets extremely low so he is a good warning.

I was allergic to Metformin I am t2, I had itching and was just coming to the conclusion that it could be the Metformin when I was hospitalised. I was very ill for a couple of days. I am now on insulin Humulin M3, and have had no problems with it and my by level is ok. So be aware the itching...

Go and see a different doctor it shouldn't be ignored.
