Similar to me although the surgery gave me a meter then wouldn't prescribe more than about 50 test strips a year becauze I wasn't on insulin (luckily I'm able to buy them myself). Was told basically 'here you go don't eat cakes or sweets come back in ...'

Absolutely....i have to confess to already thinking about buyi g new toilet seats in the house I'm buying but the bathrooms do need updating (they're a bit 1980s!). Of course it's their choice to do that. It was more the statement of what women like. Not something I've ever heard anyone mention.

I'm in process of selling my house and the buyer has had a builder round to quote for things they want done...a bit cheeky as we haven't exchanged contract yet...anyway they are looking to rip out the bathroom (their prerogative) but the builder said that women do not like to use a 'used'...

They look really uncomfortable to me...certInly not designed for my wide feet and pudgy toes! Thanks....i wouldn't walk barefoot on stones or shingle but if it's nice and sandy I'll be there!

Thanks everyone...glad to know that I won't be the only one. I'm moviing to Suffolk soon and will only be about 6 or 8 miles from the coast so I hope to do some beach exploring!

Hi everyone What do people do aboht walking on the beach? Recommendations seem to be never walk barefoot anywhere. But I love to walk on the beach and shoes on is just not the same. I'm t2 not on meds and don't have any foot problems (thank goodness for those last two ) Any suggestions...
