Hi all. My wife and I have recently been approved to become foster carers and have our first placement joining us next week. She is 13 and I am obviously keen for her to be comfortable around me doing regular blood tests and injections. Does anyone have any advice or experiences they could share?
I'm a triathlete and fell runner and practically live on gels and jelly babies! Complex carbs take too long to absorb as a 'top up'. It's the usual case of trying things out and testing to find what works for you
All alcohol reduces loos sugar as it gives your liver something else to do instead of dumping glucose into your blood and livers are not very good at multitasking. Do the pros outweigh the cons though?
