Many, many thanks to you all for your help and interest. The following day I was back to 5.9 and things are back to normal again. It is just nice to know about these things and maybe this information can help someone else. Let's all try very hard to keep our numbers low!!

I have had a serious allergic reaction to a wasp sting and was given an intramuscular injection to help with the swelling and the itching. Wasp sting greatly improved this morning, but my morning blood sugar level has shot up to 11.8 instead of 5.9. Is this normal? I am prediabetic and take...
