    Hi, have been fairly low carb for a couple of months now. Take metformin 2x500. Glucose levels have been high though, typically 10-15 in the morning.

    On the right road.

    Saw my doctor this week after being diagnosed t2 six months ago, hba1c was 68%, started on Metformin and have converted to a lchf diet. Fasting blood sugar level was 18 a few weeks ago and today it was 7.8 so really please with that even taken up running again so determined to put this right.

    High bsl in the morning.

    Hi, I was told I am type two three months ago, have religiously stuck to a lchf diet but find my bsl is quite high in the mornings, it was 9.8 today even after a four mile run, is there anything further I can do to reduce this? Not really keen to start medication.
