    hi Hana thanks for the reply I try to keep my circulation going and also try to keep my feet up as much as poss but it doesn't seem to help!! An exercise therapist sounds interesting though- perhaps my dr can help!!

    i'm 26 and D1- diagnosed about 5 years ago. I live a healthy lifestyle- i dont drink much, do at least 45 minutes of exercise a day and also eat well most of the time. Still, since being diagnosed i've experienced really bad fluid retention from my ankles, all the way up, affecting my knees...
