    Why and When?

    I am keep thinking since been diagnosed with T2 few weeks ago, why there is no cure for this disease, if some research is going on, when it will be available? I know I may be going through the denial mode, but there must be something after getting too much advancement in medical science?? No??

    I am in very similar situation, but I have found some interesting fact. My readings comes some time between 20 to 24, but I do the test again on other finger, and its shows below 10, which I should expect after my controlled diet. So its worth a try second go. I don't always trust these monitor...

    many thanks guys, some really useful tips on this forum, enjoying reading them. I used to smoke 40 a day few years back, gradually cut down to 10, and since last 2 weeks cutting down to 5 now... so eventually stop someday soon, hopefully. by the way do I have to inform DVLA and my car insurer...
