    Doctors

Medical professionals aren't great either. I have just had a phone from the doctors to say I should stop a tablet that only two weeks ago, the hospital said I should stay on. #confused

Type 2 Does broken night sleep patterns affect readings?

I have similar trouble every night, but my morning sugars are always high, regardless of what they are prior to bed. I have often wondered if sleeping problems had an effect, but my hospital doctor said it didn't.

    Colonoscopy

Oh, I do apologise for that. Our surgery is shut Monday hence why I thought I would ask on here. I didn't realise it was against rules. I was only seeking general advice.

Type 2 Test Strips and lancets

Thankfully upon ringing the surgery, they said they don't put test strips or lancets on repeat (which is odd as I have been re-ordering them for the last xx amount of years). However she did say they if I leave a note they would add them to my order, and they increased my strips to 100!

    Colonoscopy

On Wednesday I am having a colonoscopy, and was informed by the hospital to contact my DSN at my surgery to get help adjusting my insulin levels (due to 24 + hours of fasting). However, when I rung the surgery my nurse was off sick and was told someone else might be able to help and would ring...

Type 2 Test Strips and lancets

Thank you. I am on insulin, taking five jabs a day. I guess I was getting confused with T2 not on insulin as you mention. I will certainly ring them, as it is they cut them from 100 strips to 50

    Low Vitamin D levels .....

In my last tests from the hospital (for non-related diabetes) a blood test showed I was vitamin D deficient too. I don't get them on prescription as they are only £1.49 for 60 high strength in Savers. But from memory, I'm sure everyone in the UK is supposed to take a vitamin D tablet every day...

Type 2 Test Strips and lancets

I've just gone to order my monthly prescription and all my lancets and tests strips have completely vanished from the order page. Obviously, I cannot contact the surgery until Monday, but has this happened to anyone else/ My insulin is still on there, as too are my other medications. Seems a bit...

    Pharmacy

Our surgery does online prescriptions which I was persuaded to stop doing (not to mention the amount of time I spend signing my name on the twenty or so prescriptions as they put one on each sheet of paper) However, I might go back to it, and change my s pharmacy if there is no delivery option...

    Insulin Pump T2

@johnpol Thank you for your reply, and I apologise for the delay in replying, due to a hospital stay and various other issues. Anyway, I appreciate your time in replying and your honesty. I'm still in two minds but am swaying towards 'not having it'. I'm not sure about whether I could have a...

    Pharmacy

I am having trouble with my local pharmacy, so am looking to change. However, pharmacy 2 u has proven to be a waste of time and totally unreliable. But has anyone used any other pharmacy that delivers nationwide?

    Cinema treats

I know Cineworld aren't, as I have personally asked them online and in the cinema and they replied that as long as it isn't hot, food and drink are welcome. They also request that people take their rubbish from the auditorium and dispose of in the bins provided.

    Insulin Pump T2

I was at my check up last week, and was told my control was 'as good as they could expect'. I was then asked how I felt about going on an insulin pump. I was told I might not get it due to funding restrictions as it was mainly for T1. Anyway, I had never thought much about it, simply because I...
