Anybody claimed DLA for there child with type 1? if so how does it all work i.e time to hear back, payment frequency, etc i was unaware i could claim until last week when my daughters diabetes nurse asked if id made my claim.

Any advice my 4 year old blood sugar readings are horiffic before i ring the diabetes team tomorrow any advice, 9.7 at 6.30 22.8 at 8.30 20.8 at 10:30 a 2.5 unit correction was given at 8.30 should have bought down by 15. all shes had since 7:30 is water. X

I do my daughters anywhere anytime! i want her to grow up knowing its not shamefull, it needs to be done so be it. People can be so ignorant now, but would be less so should them or a loved one have to do somthing similar! do what your comfortable with x

If you figure out why id br happy to know my 4year old suffers with this but her blood sugar rises to14/18 3/4hours after her tea although she would of been in range 2/3hours after x

Yes shes on 3…3…3.5…3 up until monday her pancreas was still supplying some insulin though, what i dont get is im correcting her yet her blood sugars are higher after, i do watch n write the carbs shhe has and has no sugary drinks/sweets, carb free or very low snacks. Going to give them a call...
