I am having a bad time lately

Yep you are correct. A human brain is better than a bit of electronics. But they have to rest and go to sleep.

I am having a bad time lately

I find also, the higher I go the more insulin I need to bring me down. It seems pumps work on a set ratio amount to bring us down. Pity they are not cleverer than they think they are.

I can't do different basal profiles as I am on g5 auto mode. Also my DSN nurse says not to switch to manual.

Omnipod 5 Closed Loop Unable to hear alarms from PDM overnight

Interesting I didn't know that, thanks for enlightening me. Dexcom has the g7 version now but the g6 I prefer as most times it's quite accurate.

Omnipod 5 Closed Loop Unable to hear alarms from PDM overnight

It is not the pdm that sends the initial alarms. It is your mobile phone. Set the volume to high on all notification, especially media. (Which is the main one and is central on mine)

I am having a bad time lately

Many thanks, but I have been type1 for 60rs and usually quite good. But sometimes it can go completely haywire and difficult. Trouble is also my DSN is only part time and reduced to 2 day's and not very helpful. Even when I get lucky to talk to her the blame try to fall on me. When in fact I...

    omnipod 5

I have been using the omnipod-5 for a couple of years and have been pleased with it. Still use the hand held pdm controller. These are very good. I am also using Dexcom G6 glucose sensor. Using this the alarms work well on my phone. To get it to sound loud adjust the volume on phone. It is the...

Omnipod new sensor = sleepless night

Could you turn phone volume fully down and maybe put it in a bedside cabinet drawer beneath clean clothes. Also inside a couple of pair of socks. Did you know sound does not go through solid objects! The sounds actually cause say a wall to vibrate which in turn moves the air. I did a noise...

What's your experiences on the Omnipod 5 pump?

I find it good but I have to have settings no where near correct to what my body should be. I.e. my insulin/ carb ratios. Insulin sensitivity amount. Insulin duration. These settings are no where near what I should really be on. It means my bolus/ basal daily amounts are not the same. I have a...

Omnipod 5 and Libre 2 plus closed loop system and compatible Android phones.

I use a galaxy A34 that works well, no issues at all. I bought it off Amazon for £200 at the time as it was a lot cheaper than a monthly deal.

How to sleep with a pump?

When I was on a attached pump, I used to just let it loose in my bed. It would go where it wanted. The pump tubing I had was very strong indeed. But I am now on omnipod5 and dexcomg6. So my phone and controller are on my bedside cabinet and on charge.

    Closed loop and pork insulin

I have been using omnipod 5 looping with dexcom 6 for a good while. When I started I hated it. Terrible highs, very slow to come down. I was better on manual mode. But my DSN insisted it would learn But it didn't seem too much. After months of being high I eventually tried changing settings...
