Hi all, been a while since I posted on here. Whilst my management isn't terrible I have slightly loosened my control so hoping to regain a little control back!

    Celiac

Thank you for your message. Oh really that's interesting. I have actually put on weight in the last year however I am doing alot more exercise so I think it is muscle gain! I have to continue eating gluten otherwise it won't show on my blood test, I will see if they can check my thyroid though...

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar to me. Last year I tested weak positive for celiac. I had a blood test 6 weeks later and it was within normal range. A year on I've had another test which is weak positive again. I have really dry hands even when constantly...

I am trying another pen as of tonight so I'm hoping it is a pen issue as I've massively increased my insulin doses pretty much doubled it and I'm still high, im otherwise okay and nothing to explain the highs so fingers crossed it does the job

This is exactly how I feel! Usually I go through longer periods of having good blood sugars. I used to feel sorry for people who would struggle with their blood sugars despite trying and I feel like I'm becoming one of those people!

Hi all, thank you for all your replies. I would like to say today has been a better day but it really hasn't! Last week I kept having hypos so reduced my fast acting which worked for a few days and have now been experiencing highs so have been taking correction doses and tweaking my fast acting...

    Type 1 Numb little toe

Hi Jessica, You're right to the feel the way you do, I think they are trying to fob you off. Given you have had type 1 for only 6 years and your control sounds okay I would be surprised if you have irreversible damage! Given its started since running it sounds like it probably is a minor...

    High blood sugar numbers

Im no professional but it doesn't take a genius to work out you need to be on some form of medication! Prolonged high blood sugar can lead to ketoacidosis, can you call non emergency number? Get a second opinion. Stay safe

    Type 1 covid vaccine.

My doctors are usually quite good, when speaking to them today they are still working through group 4 so I suppose it depends on the demographic for the area

    Crying!

Oh no, I think where I live there is alot more support regarding the libre. Sorry to deter away from the original post. @charl it will get easier, unfortunately when people make these comments they don't think of how it may affect that person long after its completely gone out of their head.
