    Pre diabetes??

    My name is Arianna and I am new to this forum. My GP told me I am pre diabetes, but I attend a chest specialist and he said I was not pre diabetes! I had a HbA1c blood test and the result was 45. What does this mean? Any help would be appreciated. Best wishes, Arianna
