Thanks Martin. I also looked it up and it can to 0.09 per serving, so I think we're good :)

    Type 1: Carb counting

Thank you Azure. I measured the rice per roll and everything :( not sure if that's what placed her into a hypo or something else, but will definitely try again. You don't by any chance still have the count, do you?

    Type 1: Carb counting

Hi Mahola! Sorry I;ve been quiet recently. Been a crazy few months. It's 'blacken chicken' and quite yummy for DD. I found a site that claimed it at 6 carb per 170g. Not too bad :)

    Camping in France

We are about to head out for our annual camping trip, but it's our first time since my DD was diagnosed with T1... We'll be doing most of our cooking at the camp site, but we need to understand the carbs in local produce. So main question is - would the carb count of a French Baguette be the...

    Does anyone have a recommendation

Party went well and I think it meant a lot to go there without parental supervision. I accepted that there might be errors, but she managed it really well. We didn't go higher than 10 all weekend! :)

How do you deal with anger

And once again I come to this dialogue asking for advice :cat: How do you deal with hyper induced anger? When your child, who is usually OK and 'gets' the treatments and why she needs to do this, is hyper and angry and yelling and just does not want to see a needle much less use one. We get...

    Worried parent

@Gwelda I can only answer that I don't know how I deal with it. I look at my DD, who was diagnosed T1 in April and I am so proud of her, how she is dealing, even when sad and fed up and learn from her. On the other hand I look at her, and my heart breaks. She has had to take on so much , so...

    So far so good

And we are back. A lot of guessing, estimating, listening and trusting each other and hoping we have it (kind of) right. And for the most part we were. Stayed within the 3.8 to 11ish range (except for one hyper that took us to 14). Corrected, treated and kept moving to her rhythm. Learned a few...
