HBA1C of 56 from 47 six months ago.

I am sure everyone will be perfectly ok. UC will be saving the monthly amount, the eye infirmary can stop seeing me every 2-3 months, and my doctors can save the money on my treatments. Everybody wins

HBA1C of 56 from 47 six months ago.

On UC currently. I have slight complication like neuropathy and retinopathy. I can barely keep my UC as they keep on threatening to close my account. I have checked so please don’t say they can’t as CAB, my MP and the job centre say they can close it whenever they want. I tried pip and wca but...

HBA1C of 56 from 47 six months ago.

Unfortunately life style changes, like low carb, costs lots of money. I am unemployed and eating bad cheap foods cost less. With the recent price increases that reduces even further the food I can buy. I have also tried not to cook anything as cooking is very expensive. Yes with better foods I...

    Diabetes app

If you are using an up to date version of windows 10 the Accu-Chek 360 software won’t install from the cd. You need to copy the cd to your hd & then edit the setup.ini & rem out the requirement for activex. As windows 10 already has a better version built in. It will now install.

    Is control easier with insulin?

I don’t find it any easier to keep my bg reading under control with insulin. You normally only get free meters & test strips if you are on insulin if you are a type 2 who has normally high bg. Like you I normally have high bg reading & never had a hypo in the 13 years I was using gliclazide. I...

    Type 2 Latest HBA1c

I have been on statins since diagnosed in 2006. Reducing fat in the blood will reduce the likelihood of heart disease or stroke so that is a good thing.

How much units insulin is a lot?

I take 40 units of basal insulin in the morning. I would think you would get better results if you change taking your insulin to the morning as you are taking it at night just when you’re not going to eat for several hours.
