    Medical Exemption - Prescriptions Charge

I got fined about five years ago years ago for the same thing. Been type one for 41 years. I then applied for and received a physical card but haven't been asked for it since, and have of course now lost it. Am trusting that once it approaches its expiry date I'll receive a reminder...

Do you have any diabetes complications?

    NHS artificial pancreas roll out.

Basically, though, the media hype is just saying that the closed-loop pump that lots of people are already on will be rolled out to more people, rather than some groundbreaking new tech that's been launched. Is that right?

    Lyumjev insulin and pumps

Interesting, thank you. I'd heard that Fiasp was more 'syrupy', hence the reported blockages. Will chat about it all at my next appointment.

    Just at rock bottom now

Prancy, were you referred to a diabetes psychologist? I spoke to my consultant the other day about how I'm feeling overwhelmed with my T1, having had it for 40+ years now and she said that it's very common to get 'diabetes burn-out'. Hope all goes well with your therapy :)

    TSlim issues

By 'manual phantom bolus' do you mean disconnecting the pump and delivering the bolus into the sink or whatever? Thanks for the tips.

    TSlim issues

My big problem with the t:slim and Control IQ is the way it struggles with my slow insulin absorption / fast metabolism, and also the way it over compensates for post-hypo highs. For example, I'll deliver a bolus 15 mins before a meal and my sugars will rocket pretty much as soon as I've...

    Lyumjev insulin and pumps

Interesting. Does bolusing on Lyumjev with a pen mess up the pump algorithm?

CGM - Where do you wear yours ?

I swap my Dexcom G6 between upper arms. Occasionally alarms in the night for loss of communication, but pretty happy with positions. Daren't try tummy as my sites get sore quite quickly so don't think I'd manage 10 days straight in one place on there.

Wow, I was told that Fiasp wasn't suitable for the T-Slim. How's it been on it?
