    Not want a pump? Why?

    I've been on a pump for 13 years. The omnipod isn't available everywhere. I have a tube and it's no hassle at all. Although mine are not said to be waterproof I've accidentally swam for about 20 minutes and it's been fine so the odd accident will be fine. I've got the wire caught several times...

    Hi. I've been diabetic for 28 yrs and on a pump for 13. I can only see pro's and no cons with the pump. I'd never want to go back. It gives you much more freedom and control. I carry less "kit" with me, although I have put spares everywhere, at my mums, in the car, at work....you never know when...

    Thanks. It's funny how you get in a rut with things. I thought after 13 years of pumping I knew everything.... If generally no one like legs then I might just stop trying!! I thought it was just me!
