I think too many places tell diabetic people this as it costs so much for them to test it...simplest to say you cant use it!

Have you tried lactose free cream by Arla..available in Sansbury's... other supermarkets are available! They do a cheddar cheese and lacto free milk, I think they may also do a yoghurt but to traditional standards ie low fat and high sugar content!

I think these places use a mechanical means of deciding how long you have been in their car park and the OP said she had received a letter notifying her of the fine. They would not have been able to see her in her car recovering from the hypo so she should contact them.

In both cases it was something that couldn't be helped. If you had just wandered back from shopping to find a fine then you would have no way to avoid paying. The OP didn't return late, she was sitting in her car recovering from a hypo which prevented her from driving until her bloods reached...

She WAS recovering from a hypo Brunneria...surely that would be different?
