Whats the rules with the DVLA and Diabetes

Thanks all, I will phone the insurance company in the next day or so. Think that maybe they should tell you this in the diabetes information leaflets they give you when diagnosed. Whats the rules with the DVLA and Diabetes

Ok, so according to the DVLA site, I am OK at the moment and don't need to inform them, does that mean I don't have to tell the insurance company or do they require more information than the DVLA and require informing no matter what stage you are at? thanks for your help Caroline

Whats the rules with the DVLA and Diabetes

At what point of diagnosis do you have to report to them? I'm sat at my desk at work and about 10 mins ago felt like my heart was racing and then came very close to feeling like I was gonna to faint, I quickly grabbed a boiled sweet from my desk drawer and ate that, still feel a bit woozy but not as bad.
