Any tips for lowering blood sugar when it’s high for no obvious reason?

Interesting to here your problem. I am type 2 but my BG won't go down. 15 to 20. Pescribed metformin 2g a day with Linagliptin, then changed to metformin slow release 2g with empagliflozin. Still not working. GP doesn't seem concerned.

Have you been told not to test your blood sugars?

I was refused testing kit when I was taking Metformin but as soon as I was prescribed Linagliptin I was as prescribed tester, needles and test strips.

    Faulty Freestyle Libre Sensors

I've been wearing them in the same place for 18 months without a problem, initial they were difficult to removed but now they can be easily flicked off.

    Faulty Freestyle Libre Sensors

Has anybody had problems with their sensors. Both sensors I received in June fell off after a few days, FreeStyle replaced them but they also failed. One giving incorrect readings (low blood sugar) and one reported failed sensor after only two days. Now another one has just fallen off !

    Glucose level not falling

I was diagnosed with T2 about 4 months ago. Taking metformin but still staying around 8-9mmol even with 2gm dose. Sometimes going to 14-15mmol after food. Only falling to normal levels for a couple of hours. Testing using accuchek and Freestyle Libre. Is this to be expected ? Stephen
