What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Yes. I think Mexican food is bad for me. But it's so good. And I've always loved unsweet tea so that was never an issue. Gatorade was easy for me to kick. Even though I loved it. It was the easiest. Smoking was the hardest. But that seems to have been successful

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Yes. I change sides of my stomach and arms. I rotate every time I do an injection. The hard thing is I can't inject myself in my arms so if my moms not with me I have to do it on my stomach again. But I was only told to change location every time I inject. Not to switch every 2 weeks.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I have seen the educator on it. They gave me a bunch of papers to know how many carbs is in things like a pound of cheese. I try to stay away from processed foods and stick to the fresher things. However that's kind of hard to do when I need to eat on the run for work. But I have found it easier.

Type 1: High fasting blood sugar

Hello y'all. I'm a t1 and am just now getting to the complications with my diabetes. I have noticed that when I go to bed my blood sugars resemble some normalcy. However when I wake up I'm about 100 points higher than I was when I slept. Is there a reason for this or am I doing something...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@SWUSA Thank you so much. That makes better sense. I tested at 183 (10.1) this morning. And I'm kinda hazy as to where I need to be. My endo said she wants my fasting in the low 100 to high 90. But she was vague in explaining it.

    Pump v. Injection

My biggest thing is I'm still high. Unfortunately it's not uncommon for me to jump to the 200 after a meal. And for some unknown reason I go to bed with "normal" blood sugar but wake up high.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Ok. So I'm new to this forum. And may it's countries or maybe I'm just too new to this. But when I test I get a 3 digit number. I.e 189 (my fasting blood sugar this morning). But reading this I'm seeing 8.6 (random #). What is the difference and how do I calculate that.
