Hi All Thanks for your posts, will try again with doc now armed with some very useful info, would love to dump the metformin as well and just use the insulin which i asked to go on December 2010. Now have good control and eat what i want within reason :mrgreen: will keep you informed.

Hi All Been on simvastatin since day one 10yrs ago, cholesterol was 6.9 then and been taking 40mg every night since. I believe simvastatin can cause memory loss as a side effect but Doc won't have that :(

Hi Guys New to this but need some answers as not getting anywhere with doctors. Is there a danger with low cholesterol levels ? I have been as low as 1.2 at present they are 2.1 doctor loves me but i feel like #### also have a big problem with both short and long term memory loss. Cheers mp
