    Insulin dose for protein/fat?

    Does anyone on a low carb high fat/protein diet calculate an insulin dose for protein/fat consumption? I am aware of the Polish algorithm, which provides a calculation for this, but when I have tried this it did not work for me, too much delayed insulin. Thanks David
